Hey! I was wondering when you were gonna finish rating Buffy and Angel episodes. If your interested you could rate characters too!!! You could add Buffy and Angel charcter profiles from different websites and give your opinion of each character.
April 25, 2009 at 6:20 am
So when are you gonna update the site???
April 29, 2009 at 6:20 pm
Hey tami. I’ve been struck with so much university work that’s it’s just not funny. I’ll try to continue to update the site. Just keep on checking on it every so often. To be honest, not many people were checking it out, so I sorta stopped a bit. But now, people have started to check it out. I’m gonna put more work in now.
April 29, 2009 at 7:08 pm
Just put another set of rankings up.
April 30, 2009 at 6:06 am
So when are gonna finish the summaries for season five epiosdes yet? I’d would really like to know how many points Tara and Willow will get in that season.
April 30, 2009 at 11:19 am
Hey Tami. It’s great to see you visiting the site. I have no idea when I’ll get to my season 5 summaries. First I wanna finish the ranking of the episodes. But since you wanna know what Willow and Tara got so badly, I’ll tell ya.
Willow got 85 total points with her best episode being ‘Triangle’ in which she garnered 12.
Tara got 33 total points with her best episode being ‘Family’ in which she got 6. What you have to remember about Tara’s points count is that she appeared in 18 episodes, and was rarely featured. Also, her brain got fiddled with by Glory so she wasn’t exactly coherent for the last 4 episodes.
I’ll be happy to answer any other questions anyone might have since it could be a while before I finish this site.
May 3, 2009 at 6:01 am
It’s such a shame that Tara wasn’t featured all that much in season 5. It sucks even more that they killed her off in season 6. I heard that Tara was going to be resurected by the end of season 8 of Buffy! Do you think they’ll actually do it?!
May 3, 2009 at 11:00 am
In answer to your Tara resurrection question, I’m unsure. Joss is very hard to predict but I somewhat doubt that he’d bring back Tara. Willow seems in a stable relationship with Kennedy right now (unfortunately) and I don’t see him bringing Tara back unless he has a major purpose in place.
May 3, 2009 at 4:47 am
I was wondering where do you go watch all the buffy and angel episodes?
May 3, 2009 at 10:54 am
I have them all on DVD. I watch them quite a lot. Right now though, I’m not watching them as much. I want to wait a few months before watching both series again.
May 3, 2009 at 5:59 am
This may be a long shot but…could you add some transcripts from Buffy Season 8 or summaries please? I’m only asking because I think it could be an awesome addition to your site. It will also bring your websites more hits because not a lot of websites have season 8 transcripts (none on wordpress). Here’s a website that has transcrpits from the first 21 issues.

I thought about it back when I was creating the site but I decided against it. I tend to subscribe to the opinion that the comics are semi-cannon. I like to think that the universe ended once Angel finished. That’s not a hit against the comics because they seem quite good, but I just prefer the series and want to keep this site about them in particular. I could maybe implement them in the future but right now there’s a lot of work left to do.
May 4, 2009 at 11:52 pm
So I was wondering how many points does Glory and Dawn get in season 5, and how many points does Tara get in season 6 and in total?
May 5, 2009 at 10:26 am
Dawn manages a pretty decent 48 points with her best episode being ‘Blood Ties’ in which she gets 7 points, which I think would make it her best episode overall. I also think season five is Dawn’s best season points-wise.
Glory scores a very respectable 25, which for a villain is quite strong. Her best appearance is ‘The Weight Of The World’ in which she scores 6.
I’ll give you a brief outline of Tara’s pointscoring:
Season Four – Score of 13 at an average of 1.08. Best – ‘Who Are You’.
Season Five – Score of 33 at an average of 1.83. Best – ‘Family’.
Season Six – Score of 45 at an average of 2.81. Best – ‘Once More With Feeling’.
Overall – Score of 91 at an average of 1.98.
As you can see, Tara has her best season in season six, where she gains a bit of independance and strength.

Have you read the Buffy novel Dark Congress? (or know someone who has). Because I can’t seem to ffind it anywhere, I was wondering if Tara was still alive when the book ends. I know that the book takes place in an alternate universe, but Willow and Tara should be together in SOME part of the Buffyverse RIGHT?
May 5, 2009 at 10:33 am
Hey Sam,
No, I haven’t read Dark Congress. I have only read one Buffy-related novel and that was based in Season 3. So I can’t help you with that, but I’m sure their is Buffy readin materials that have Will and Tara together, If I remember correctly, there’s is a series of comics based around the two so maybe look for those.
Should Tara and Willow be together in some part of the Buffyverse? Maybe.
I do love the relationship between Tara and Willow but I was always more fond of Willow and Oz.
If I were in control of the Buffyverse, I would have Willow and Tara together again, since I think they connect the best as a couple, although I enjoy watching Will/Oz more. But, that does seem unlikely.
May 5, 2009 at 12:38 am
Hey, I’m planning to watch Buffy episodes on the Internet, and I’m really interested in the “Glory saga”. Could you list all the the episodes that that are a part of the Glory story arc, so I’d know what’s going on?
May 5, 2009 at 10:38 am
Episodes in which Glory appears:
Episode 5 – ‘No Place Like Home’ (introduction).
Episode 6 – ‘Family’.
Episode 8 – ‘Shadow’.
Episode 12 – ‘Checkpoint’.
Episode 13 – ‘Blood Ties’ (Ben and Glory connection is revealed).
Episode 15 – ‘I Was Made To Love You’.
Episode 17 – ‘Forever’.
Episode 18 – ‘Intervention’.
Episode 19 – ‘Tough Love’
Episode 20 – ‘Spiral’.
Episode 21 – ‘The Weight Of The World’.
Episode 22 – ‘The Gift’ (Glory’s end).
All season five episodes.
Side note: I should have the next set of rankings up in the next few days.
May 6, 2009 at 1:20 am
Thanks for answering my question. I totally agree that Willow and Tara should get back together if we could control the Buffyverse. And since most Buffy novels take place in alternate universes (so I’ve heard) there’s a pretty good chance that the two wiccas are still together this very day!! But to the point: could you please tell me the best Willow/Tara episodes when you get a chance?
May 6, 2009 at 10:36 am
There aren’t a lot of episodes that focus purely on Willow and Tara but there is always some nice moments to look out for. Just off the top of my head some episodes I would suggest is:
Season Four:- ‘The I In Team’, ‘Who Are You’, ‘New Moon Rising’.
Season Five:- ‘Family’, ‘The Body’, ‘Tough Love’
Season Six:- ‘The Bargaining Part One’, ‘Once More With Feeling’, ‘Tabula Rasa’, ‘Seeing Red’.
There’s also a few others but those episodes have some good Tara/Will moments in them.
May 6, 2009 at 6:14 am
Hey dude! Do yuo know any wordpress blogs that have transcripts to Buffy episodes? Because that would be so cool if they did!
May 6, 2009 at 10:38 am
I don’t know of any wordpress blogs but I go to a website, buffyworld.com, which has transcipts for all Buffy and Angel episodes. It’s on the blogroll on the right hand side of this page.
May 6, 2009 at 6:18 am
Do you know where I can watch Buffy episodes online? I was using free-tvshows.com and videos.repph.com, but they have a bunch of ads that make my computer act up! So until they those two websites work things out, do you know any “alternatives”?

May 6, 2009 at 10:40 am
Since both Tami and Demi’s question is the same I’ll answer it here. No, I do not know of any sites that allow you to watch Buffy online. Sorry.
May 7, 2009 at 11:38 pm
I’m a bit nervous about watching season 6 of Buffy. Because that’s the darkest season of them all (and you know, Tara dies near the end). And I try to avoid season 7 (namely because of Kennedy), so could you please tell me what the best season 6 & 7 episodes? To help me get over my “season 6 & 7- phobia”?
May 8, 2009 at 10:00 am
I would suggest that you watch all episodes of both seasons. Not only does it make sense for the overall arcs of the seasons, but all Buffy episodes are enjoyable and they should be watched.
Yes, Season Six is a dark season, and Tara does die, but there’s still a lot of good episodes. I’ll name some of my favourites:
Episode 2 – ‘ Bargaining Part Two ‘.
Episode 3 – ‘ After Life ‘
Episode 4 – ‘ Flooded ‘
Episode 5 – ‘ Life Serial ‘
Episode 7 – ‘ Once More With Feeling ‘
Episode 8 – ‘ Tabula Rasa ‘
Episode 9 – ‘ Smashed ‘
Episode 18 – ‘ Entropy ‘
Episode 20 – ‘ Villains ‘
Episode 22 – ‘ Grave ‘.
Season Seven is a decent season as well. Yes, it has Kennedy in it but she isn’t enough to make you wanna miss episodes. Some of my favourites from that season are-
Episode 1 – ‘ Lessons ‘
Episode 4 – ‘ Help ‘
Episode 5 – ‘ Selfless ‘
Episode 7 – ‘ Conversations With Dead People ‘
Episode 11 – ‘ Showtime ‘
Episode 16 – ‘ Storyteller ‘
Episode 17 – ‘ Lies My Parents Told Me ‘
Episode 20 – ‘ Touched ‘ (You might just want to skip the Kennedy stuff).
Episode 21 – ‘ End Of Days ‘
Episode 22 – ‘ Chosen ‘
Also, I suggest you watch all the episodes, so you yourself can find out which ones you like, and just watch them. And, if you still don’t like the later season, just stick the seasons you like. I tend to watch season 2 and 3 more than the others myself.
May 7, 2009 at 11:44 pm
I just heard that Willow broke up with Kennedy!! Isn’t that great!!! I don’t knwo how or why they broke up, but who cares right? Plus I don’t know about you, but those two were going on strong for a little TOO long if ya know what I’m saying? (OH! and by the Kennedy reveals the break up in the Buffy comic “Swell” issue 22).
May 8, 2009 at 10:03 am
I couldn’t find any information about their breakup but apparantly Willow has been magically cheating on her, so they could very well be setting up such a breakup.
May 9, 2009 at 6:07 am
I guess you have to buy the issue to learn more about the break-up. Trust me, it’ll be worth it!
May 14, 2009 at 12:34 am
So do you that there are Buffy “virtual seasons” out there? You should totally check it out! Wikipedia has a list of them when you check out their virtual season article. My favorite is “The Chosen” and it takes after season 7. I think you will really like it and the best part is they resurrected Tara! Here’s the link right here: http://www.btvschosen.com/
May 14, 2009 at 10:17 am
Sounds interesting, although I don’t really enjoy anything that’s not cannon. But that’s just me. It’s good to see people still using the Buffy universe to create stories though.
May 14, 2009 at 12:56 am
Do you know where I could find deleted scenes of buffy on the internet? I keep hearing about them, but I wanna watch them but I can’t find them. Hey! Do you think that you could post some deleted scenes from your dvd on the web, like on youtube or something?
May 14, 2009 at 10:19 am
Not off the top of my head. I’ve seen a few on my DVD’s but there isn’t many. I also don’t know how to do any of what you suggested in reference to embedding and whatever. Sorry I couldn’t help.
May 14, 2009 at 10:20 am
Just to let everyone know. I might not be putting up a new set of rankings for a week or two, university work has hit a new high. I hope to spend some time getting more rankings up soon.
May 20, 2009 at 5:14 am
So I was wondering do you know any other cool Buffy blogs on wordpress (or on the web period)?
May 20, 2009 at 10:48 am
I don’t know many on wordpress. I have a blogroll on this page which has all the Buffy related sites I visit. Whedonesque is the BEST site to visit if you wanna know anything going on in the Whedon world. Soulful Spike Society is also a good read. Buffyworld has a lot of cool episode transripts and screen caps. That’s what I generally visit. A lot of those places have links to other Buffy sites as well so you could find more there.
May 29, 2009 at 3:20 am
Hey! So I have a question: How many points can you give a character per scene? Like when you gave Xander 3 points for his in the fight scene in The Yoko Factor? I was just wondering how many points a character can get in a scene.
May 29, 2009 at 9:41 am
As many as I see fit. It usually never goes over 5. 3’s in themselves a pretty rare and only happen in the best of scenes.
June 1, 2009 at 5:13 am
So i was wondering how many points does the Sccoby Gang get in Bargaining, Part One and Two and Once More, With Feeling? Just curious.
June 1, 2009 at 10:13 am
Hey Riley
Bargaining Part One:- Xander 4, Willow 5, Spike 4, Anya 2, Dawn 2, Tara 3 & Giles 3.
Bargaining Part Two:- Buffy 5, Xander 6, Willow 7, Spike 2, Anya 4, Dawn 2 & Tara 4.
Once More, With Feeling:- Buffy 11, Xander 9, Willow 5, Spike 11, Anya 10, Dawn 5, Tara 7 & Giles 9.
June 1, 2009 at 11:46 pm
Thanks!
When you wirte the summary for Once More, With Feeling are you going to post lyrics to some of the songs? Cause if you are I know a website where can get the lyrics.
June 2, 2009 at 9:49 am
That’s the plan. I’m sure that when I eventually do the OMWF review that there will be plenty of lyrics to read.
October 16, 2009 at 3:16 am
Hey are you still updating the site. I’ve been checking back and forth for months, but I couldn’t find any updates.
November 5, 2009 at 4:42 pm
hi.. i was trying to research on the origin of the word Teutonic which i heard on the Initiative episode of season 4. it kinda interests me on how they came to use it on riley. did it mean like an old fashioned guy? where did it come about on the series? it seemed like a regular lingo of the scooby gang. hope i’m making sense.
thanks..
